During the evening of August 5th, 2017, Mightier Than Me, a band from Greensboro, NC won Rock Band of The Year at the Carolina Music Awards in Durham, North Carolina. Randy Williams, Wes Frank Norman, Robert Seawell, Sarah Barker, and Triple Kick Charlie took home the title, alongside their manager E.
